Penneshaw is the gateway to Kangaroo Island and has all the local conveniences you'll need for your stay. It is the perfect place to relax, fish, swim, play golf, wander and enjoy the local wildlife. It is also a great base to explore all that Kangaroo Island has to offer.

Penneshaw is home to 'Little Penguins' who nest in and around the town. The Penguin Information Centre is open every evening and is only a short walk from the beach house.

Getting there
Kangaroo Island Sealink operates a daily ferry service from Cape Jervis on the mainland, to Penneshaw. The drive from Adelaide, South Australia's capital city, to Cape Jervis takes approximately 1.5 hours down the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula. The passenger ferry accommodates both vehicles and passengers with the crossing from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw taking approximately 45 minutes.
